the three versions of the zine, closed, spread out and partly lying on top of each other. clearly visible on all of them is the Muskat Brown cover paper. the braille version has black plastic binding rings on the left side, braille text on the top and bottom, and tactile graphics in the center that depict the original cover illustration: an arrowhead with an anarchist circle-a on it, and lines of various lengths radiating outward. on the top of both print versions is black text that reads 'Klee Benally, Ya’iishjááshch’ilí'. in the center big black letters that could best be described as showing only the shading of 3D letters, spell out 'unknowable' in all-caps, with four letters per row, and the last one only containing two. next to these two last letters, smaller black text reads the subtitle of the zine: 'against an indigenous anarchist theory'. the braille and large print versions are bigger than the small print, the latter being A5 and the former being A4.

originally published in Black Seed: Not on Any Map, Unknowable discusses the notion of an Indigenous Anarchism. Klee's poetic writing inspires a certain un-awareness of civilization's piercing gaze that seeks to analyze everything to death, making the case for resisting it while perhaps making limited use of its concepts and ideas to build bridges between worlds.
